This all started as a hobby and the rest is history!

I began with cotton waxed cord and macramed for myself. Folks I work with encouraged me to make more and sell them...I thought that would take the fun out of it, but instead made me look into more things to make.

I have now expanded and am now working with bamboo, leather and abalone.

This all passes the time while my husband is at sea.  He is the Captain of the boat Holiday, an 85 foot sportfishing vessel in San Diego.

I started collecting things that the boat could no longer use, like bamboo...and started building from there.

I do custom orders all year long, and display and sell once a year at the UCSD Craft Fair....
